Pinterest (the worker collected 19 genres × 10 images = 190 images): This was the only platform where genre-specific trends could be described. Kawaii and girly styles leaned toward fluffy winter-ready coquette looks in baby pink and off-white; dresses featured “Fall 2026” chocolate brown, wine, and butter yellow. Denim centered on denim-on-denim; minimalist looks featured beige-to-brown wide-leg pants; matching-set styles included gray tone-on-tone looks and knit zip-ups; bohemian was “witchy” and dark-toned; coats included long wool styles and trenches; shoes and bags were coordinated in nude beige to camel neutrals. Gothic and Lolita searches returned zero results, so they “could not be collected.” Mode-style searches included some pins that looked AI-generated, so use them only as reference.

Reddit: The only search term was “Daily Fashion News,” so results were mainly watch news and small OOTD-focused communities. Usable material came from r/women (fall/winter retail is a mix of the ’70s, ’90s, and now, with goth returning), r/BusinessFashion (cream cardigans with tan pants, blazers with suede boots), and r/MakeupAndStyle (a comfortable all-black outfit received 785 points and a “YAY”). • The search terms were not fashion terms, but X Explore trends themselves: “Paris”, “Christian”, “Italy”, “Europe”, “#ABALiga”, “Bible”, “Dinamo”, “Poland”, “Roadster”, “Tesla”.
• The Explore location was Croatia: many trends in the table appeared as “Trending in Croatia,” while others appeared as “Politics · Trending,” “Sports · Trending,” or “Travel · Trending.” In other words, this trend list reflects Croatia and its surrounding area, where the server is connected from, rather than global or Japanese trends. Post counts for each trend could not be obtained (“—”).
