Daily Fashion News — 2026-10-25
The current mood is an autumn look of chocolate brown × wide-leg pants × knitwear, with coquettish ribbons added—but in practice, Pinterest was the only source I could actually read.
Daily Fashion News — 2026-10-25
Today’s fashion, in a nutshell, feels like “chocolate brown × wide-leg pants × knitwear, plus coquettish ribbons”! But honestly, Pinterest was the only one whose content I could properly read. Reddit and X had zero images and barely surfaced any fashion discussion, while on YouTube I could only see video titles. So I can’t write about “changes from the previous day”—this is only as far as I can get in capturing today’s atmosphere!
Across platforms
There were actually very few things that could be said consistently across multiple places, but these are worth noting!
- The return of Y2K–2000s style: Pinterest featured low-rise flared denim, Henley-neck logo long-sleeves, and leg warmers (#51, 54, 56, 121, 123, 127), while r/fashion’s “Today's fit” on Reddit received the comment “Very 90s/Y2K of you.” (https://www.reddit.com/r/fashion/comments/1xe02aa/). That said, the Reddit post had 0 points and 8 comments, so the evidence is weak.
- A shift toward minimal and classic styles: Pinterest’s black-and-gray monochrome looks (#81, 84, 94, 98), the “return to classic style” and tailored jackets mentioned in related YouTube search articles (FASHIONSNAP and WWD JAPAN search results), and a Reddit watch thread where NOMOS was praised as “simple & clean” all seem to point in roughly the same direction. However, the YouTube item reflects article content rather than the videos themselves, so take it as reference only.
- Practical autumn/winter styling: Multiple Japanese and English YouTube results near the top were trend explainers for fall/winter 2026. The English results leaned practical, with themes like “IN vs OUT,” “wear with what you already own,” and “wear for a long time,” which aligns with Pinterest’s sense of seasonal staples.
Platform by platform
Pinterest: The only platform I could properly read! Out of 190 images across 19 categories (19 categories × 10 images), I opened and looked at around 56; I filled in the rest from their titles. There were zero Gothic/Lolita images, so that category “did not yield results.” The current leading look is an autumn palette of chocolate brown + cream + burgundy (brown tones coordinated across knitwear, boots, bags, and coats), with compact tops and extremely wide, voluminous wide-leg pants/baggy denim on the bottom. Coquette details—ribbons, lace, and ruffles—seem to run across Kawaii, girly, and skirt categories. The mood by category is as follows.
- Kawaii/girly: pink × white × brown, ribbons, plush charms, pearls.
- Dresses/skirts/one-pieces: black rib-knit mini dresses with black tights and long boots; denim minis with brown knits. One-pieces still skew heavily toward summer items.
- Y2K/street/denim: low-rise flares, baggy denim, double denim, keychains, and shearling boots.
- Korean/minimal/office: wide-leg pants in pale tones, black-and-gray monochrome, accessories with gold hardware, collarless cardigans.
- Knitwear/co-ords/athleisure: half-zips, mohair, cable knits, knit co-ords, brown and ivory sweats.
- Vintage/bohemian: Y2K-leaning vintage, “Witchy Bohemian” (a chiffon cape + baggy denim + fringe bag, #154).
- Mode/coats/shoes and bags: iridescent pleats × black latex (#162), ultra-long charcoal or cream coats, brown leather bags.
Incidentally, images that appear AI-generated (#2, 74, 154, 162, 164, etc.) are mixed in too, so they are not necessarily real outfit photos.
Reddit: A search for “Daily Fashion News” returned 12 threads, but there were zero images, and only one post each in r/fashion and r/femalefashionadvice actually discussed fashion content. The topic was gossip-leaning industry news about a rush of designer changes (Vaccarello, McGirr, Leoni, Ghesquière) (https://www.reddit.com/r/femalefashionadvice/comments/1x9srww/). By category, the trend “did not yield results.”
X: The worker’s search followed Croatian trends (Mass Effect/BioWare, soccer, basketball), resulting in 0 fashion posts out of 40. There were also 0 images. All 20 categories “did not yield results.”
YouTube: Only search-result titles and URLs were checked. Japanese results included trade show research (SHIPS 2026AW), apparel staff explainers, and runway reviews. English results included numerous “Fall Fashion Trends 2026” videos. Video content, view counts, and channel names could not be obtained.
What to watch
- Brown × wide-leg pants × knitwear becoming a staple — Pinterest (#4, 21, 29, 119, 131, 138, 173, 184, 187). Sources are listed in
output/pinterest.pins.md. - The new phrase “Witchy Bohemian” — Pinterest #154. It could become the next angle on bohemian style.
- The “return to classic style” and tailored jackets for fall/winter 2026 — Articles from FASHIONSNAP/WWD JAPAN (which appeared in YouTube searches).
- The rush of creative-director changes — Reddit r/femalefashionadvice (https://www.reddit.com/r/femalefashionadvice/comments/1x9srww/).
- The latest English-language fall trend explainer — YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0NRnVah1V8 (marked “14 days ago,” newer than the others).
- SHIPS’ 2026AW trade show video — YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjmU1SZEuxs (uploader unconfirmed).
Recommendations
- For X collection, use Japanese category terms such as “vintage,” “Y2K,” “dress,” and “outfit” in searches, rather than Explore (which is region-dependent), and run them in a Japan-region session.
- For Reddit collection, stop using only the single phrase “Daily Fashion News” and instead search targeted terms such as category names, r/femalefashionadvice, and r/streetwear.
- Since YouTube video pages may be unavailable, prepare an alternative method for obtaining captions and descriptions.
- To write about “changes from the previous day,” save the prior day’s Pinterest collection results so they can be compared.
- Revisit the search terms for Gothic/Lolita styles and collect again.
- Exclude Pinterest images outside the target categories (kitchen DIY, interiors, sewing patterns, product pins) and AI-looking images at the collection stage.
Data quality
- Pinterest: Zero Gothic/Lolita images. Only around 56 images were actually opened; the rest relied on titles. Off-category images (#18, 28, 34, 70, 79, 95, 135, 137, 144) and AI-looking images were mixed in. Without prior-day data, no “day-over-day” comparison could be written.
- Reddit: Zero images; fashion-related content amounted to effectively two threads, with limited engagement. The completion condition (two images per category) was not met.
- X: A Croatian trend search produced 0 fashion posts and 0 images. The completion condition (three images per category) was not met.
- YouTube: The body content could not be retrieved; only titles and snippets were available. View counts, channel names, and dates are mostly unknown.
- Of the four specified platforms, Pinterest was the only one that produced substantive findings. Overall confidence is therefore low.

What people say
- r/fashion “Today's fit” (#7, 0 points · 8 comments, 2026-10-24)https://www.reddit.com/r/fashion/comments/1xe02aa/ — The poster’s outfit was described as “Very 90s/Y2K of you.” (u/dyslexiea), while another comment said it was “something some boys in my school would've worn in 2003.” There was also mention of sailor-style pants, suggesting a Y2K/2000s revival mood. The score is 0, so engagement is limited.
- r/femalefashionadvice weekly news (October 19, 2026) (#6, 3 points · 2 comments, 2026-10-19)https://www.reddit.com/r/femalefashionadvice/comments/1x9srww/ — The discussion is not about clothing itself, but designer personnel changes. u/BirdxInternet notes: “So many designers out. Vaccarello, McGirr, Leoni, allegedly PPP. Plus all this stir around Ghesquière,” pointing to a rush of creative-director changes.
- r/ihatethissmug “Historical men's fashion becoming thought as feminine” (#2, 120 points · 121 comments, 2026-10-19)https://www.reddit.com/r/ihatethissmug/comments/1x9x6qa/ — A post arguing for skirts, stockings, and long hair to be “for everyone.” The top comment reads, “i just wish there are actually different clothings to choose from instead of deciding between T-shirts or polo shirts” (38), expressing frustration with the lack of options in menswear. There is also a suggestion that the post itself is a joke post (u/Tani_Soe, 37).
- Three r/Watches daily-news posts (#5 120 points · 5 comments · 2026-10-21 https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/1xbpqjh/、#8 219 points · 23 comments · 2026-10-22 https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/1xchyls/、#9 200 points · 12 comments · 2026-10-20 https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/1xavtn0/) — Including a 36 mm all-black Timex × Dimepiece, Hermès H08, and Oris kelp-pattern dials. In the comments, NOMOS was praised as “simple & clean” (u/bluehill55), and ELKA as “very very elegant watches with amazing vintage vibes” (u/actinross), showing appreciation for minimalism and vintage character. There were also size-related comments such as “Ressence is Too big” (-1).
- K-pop-related threads (#1 r/Kim_Minju 21 points · 1 comment · 2026-10-24 https://www.reddit.com/r/Kim_Minju/comments/1xe5uu6/、#3 r/iZone 11 points · 1 comment · 2026-10-24 https://www.reddit.com/r/iZone/comments/1xed9y1/、#12 r/gawon 12 points · 0 comments · 2026-10-17 https://www.reddit.com/r/gawon/comments/1x82qcr/) — “Daily Fashion News” was the name of an Instagram account (@dailyfashion_news) featuring K-pop idols such as Kim Minju and MEOVV. The collected posts were update links from that account, with no discussion of clothing content.
- Noise: #4 r/LoveIslandUpdates (133 points · 62 comments · 2026-10-19) concerns the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026, but its content is about romantic relationships. #10 r/RainyMari (13 points) and #11 r/starterpacks (535 points · 29 comments) merely matched the phrase “Daily News” and are unrelated to fashion.
Signals
- Rising: 90s/Y2K–2003-like styling (#7), and minimal, clean watch design with vintage appeal (#8). However, both are supported only by a small number of comments.
- What is being discussed: A mass turnover of designers (#6). This is being discussed as industry news, rather than as trends in color or silhouette.
- Negative feedback/frustration: The boredom of menswear offering only T-shirts or polo shirts (#2). However, the thread itself is treated as a joke.
- What was surprising: The fashion-related thread with the most engagement (#2, 121 comments) was not a trend discussion, but a discussion of gender and history.
- Trends by category: This collection does not contain enough material to identify category-level colors, silhouettes, materials, accessories, or changes from the previous day. There are only weak clues for Y2K and minimal/polished styles. The other 18 categories are treated as “did not yield results.”
Limits
- The only search term was “Daily Fashion News,” yielding 12 results. There are no search results using category names (Kawaii, Y2K, denim, etc.).
- There were zero images.
images/reddit/does not exist, and the completion requirement of two Reddit images per category (40 total) was not met. All 20 categories “did not yield results.” - Fashion-related collection consisted essentially of one post each from r/fashion and r/femalefashionadvice. Both had little engagement (0 points and 3 points), so no overall trend can be discussed.
- The worker only read already-collected data. Since Reddit rejects WebFetch, it did not reopen threads for additional verification.
X
X — Daily Fashion News
I reviewed the X collection for 2026-10-25 (output/x.posts.md, 40 posts · 36 accounts). To put it plainly, not a single fashion topic was captured. Sorry, but today’s X section “did not yield results.”
What happened
- The worker searched by following X Explore (trends). Explore is determined by the server location, and this time it displayed “Trending in Croatia”. These were neither Japanese nor global trends.
- The 10 search terms were
$SONG/Turkey/#SaveMassEffect/#ABALiga/BioWare/Croats/#chance/Apple/Germany/Yugoslavia. Not one was fashion-related (clothing, outfits, brand names, etc.). - The
images/folder does not exist, and not a single image was provided. The completion requirement of “3 X images × 20 categories” was not met.
Accounts
There are no fashion-focused accounts in this collection. For reference, here is a breakdown of the collected accounts.
- Posts that gained major traction with a single post
- @WeAreMassEffect: 11,828 likes. A petition campaign for the game “Mass Effect.”
- @fpedrii8: 8,738 likes. Soccer (about the Germany national team coach).
- @HowlingAdultery: 3,761 likes. A meme about BioWare’s closure.
- Multiple mid-sized posts on the same topic
- Basketball-related #ABALiga accounts (@ABA_League, @KKCedOL, etc.) all had around 0 likes.
- Under
#chance, @antaganan had 2 posts (854 likes total).
- The rest included promotional accounts (@songoncardano for cryptocurrency, @pxnp22 for subscription services), as well as discussions of UK immigration and employment (@GoodwinMJ).
Posts
Since these are not fashion insights, this only records what was mixed in.
- The #SaveMassEffect petition surpassed 50,000 signatures in 48 hours. 11,828 likes, 3,499 reposts, and about 439,000 views (2026-10-23). https://x.com/WeAreMassEffect/status/2113613782211567879
- BioWare’s closure was a topic of discussion. A post in which the leader of Canada’s NDP called for an employee buyout received 2,055 likes, 320 reposts, and about 57,000 views (2026-10-23). https://x.com/JVCom/status/2113592618995032398
- A meme making fun of the dispute between China and Turkey. “Turkey can boycott Chinese products…” received 1,822 likes and about 48,000 views (2026-10-24). https://x.com/jokieliu/status/2113896613366378680
- An art initiative for
#ICHANCETOBER2026. The DAY 12 call-for-entries post received 853 likes, 243 reposts, and about 37,000 views (2026-10-22). https://x.com/antaganan/status/2113374839696150602 (This is a fan-art initiative, not about clothing.) - The search for “Germany” returned soccer content. https://x.com/fpedrii8/status/2113810645707587806 received 8,738 likes and about 324,000 views (2026-10-24).
Signals
- Today’s X results (from Croatia) were centered on games (Mass Effect/BioWare), politics, and soccer and basketball.
- The biggest reason is that the search terms were trend names as-is, with no terms connected to the theme of “Daily Fashion News.”
- All 20 genres (from Kawaii to shoes and bags) “did not yield results.” Trends in color, silhouette, materials, and accessories, as well as changes from the previous day, cannot be written based on X data. Writing them anyway would be fabrication, so they have not been included.
Limits
- Mismatch with the theme: The search terms were Explore trend names (Croatia region), with 0 fashion terms. All 40 results were outside the theme.
- Region: Explore showed “Trending in Croatia.” It does not reflect fashion trends in Japan or globally.
- Images:
images/x/does not exist, and there were 0 images. The genre-by-genre image collection (3 X images × 20 genres) was not completed. - Genre-by-genre analysis: All 20 genres “did not yield results.”
- Suggestion for next time (this is speculation): Searching with genre names (for example, “vintage clothing,” “Y2K,” “dress,” or “outfit”), Japanese fashion terms, or a Japan-region session may make it possible to find relevant results.
- This time, X itself was not viewed; only the provided collection files were read (as instructed by the playbook).

Signals
- Multiple Fall/Winter 2026 trend explainers rank highly in both Japanese and English.
- In Japanese, industry-perspective formats stand out, including “preview-event research,” “apparel staff explainers,” and “runway reviews.”
- In English, practical angles are common, such as “IN vs OUT,” “10 trends,” “wear what you own,” and “pieces you can wear for a long time.”
- English videos have continued to be posted from late July through early October. New entries from 14 and 22 days ago are still appearing in October.
- Searches for related articles (FASHIONSNAP, WWD JAPAN) identified “a return to classic style” and tailored jackets as Fall/Winter 2026 keywords. These are article contents, not YouTube video contents.
- Genre-by-genre images are outside YouTube’s scope (images are collected on other platforms).
Limits
- YouTube search-results pages and video pages returned only footers via WebFetch, so their body content could not be retrieved. As a result, view counts, subscriber counts, exact posting dates, descriptions, and comments could not be obtained. Comparisons with channels’ typical view counts were also not possible.
- A method for retrieving HTML with a local script could not be tried because approval to run it was not granted in this environment.
- The “X days ago” labels on English videos are search-snippet labels, and the reference date is unknown. The only posting date that could be confirmed was 10/2.
- Posting dates could not be obtained for any Japanese videos. It could not be verified whether they were within the last 60 days.
- The required images (10 per genre) are not within YouTube’s remit and were not collected at this stage.
- All sources are WebSearch results. The videos themselves were not watched.
Pinterest — Daily Fashion News (2026-10-25)
Of the 19 genres × 10 images = 190 images collected by the worker (only the Gothic/Lolita category had 0 images), approximately 3 images from each genre (56 total) were actually opened and read; the remainder was supplemented using pin titles. Numbers in [ ] are pin numbers (the # column in output/pinterest.pins.md). Since there is no previous day’s data, what can be said from the images extends only to “the current mood.” No “day-over-day” notes are included at the end of each genre (see Limits).
Visual themes
- An autumn palette of chocolate brown + cream + burgundy. Many looks coordinate browns across knitwear, boots, bags, and trench coats/coats [4, 21, 29, 119, 131, 138, 173, 184, 187]. Wine red/burgundy is used as an accent color [14, 67, 98, 119].
- Wide-leg pants/baggy denim are the defining silhouette. Compact tops (ribbed henley necks, cropped lengths) paired with extremely wide bottoms create a narrow-top, wide-bottom balance [61, 65, 67, 71, 74, 78, 81, 84, 91, 94, 98, 111].
- Coquette styles with bows, lace, and ruffles span Kawaii, girly, and skirt categories. Pink × white, with bows also appearing on accessories (bags, shoes, hair clips) [2, 4, 8, 21, 41, 43, 47, 74].
- Knitwear and zip-up layering. Half-zips, mohair-like turtlenecks, cable knits, and shirt + knit layering [25, 111, 115, 119, 131, 134, 141, 148].
- Mini lengths + long boots + tights (dresses, skirts, denim). Black tights with brown knee-high/long boots [11, 21, 105, 101].
- Collage/mood-board-format pins (flat-lay items + accessory lists) are common, presenting complete outfits in Y2K, vintage, bohemian, and dress looks [14, 16, 123, 127, 154, 156, 184].
- Minimal black and gray monochrome looks (office/minimal/coats). Accessories with gold hardware provide accent color [81, 84, 94, 98, 177].
- The revival of Y2K/2000s: low-rise flare denim, henley-neck T-shirts, leg warmers, and bold logo T-shirts [51, 54, 56, 121, 123, 127].

Signals
By genre (within the scope of viewed images and what can be read from titles):
Kawaii (#1–10)
Pink × white × brown stripes. Fluffy pink leg warmers, bows, plush bag charms, and tiered mini skirts [2, 4, 8]. “Coquette” and “Korean” tags are common, making Kawaii lean toward coquette + mass-produced-style fashion. #10 is a Korean-style dress retail pin.
Dresses (#11–20)
A black ribbed-knit mini dress, a tan halter maxi, and a wine-red balloon mini. Gold accessories + black/nude heels [11, 14, 16]. #12–13 are blue floral/striped midis, while #19 is a linen midi, retaining traces of summer. #18, “Bright Boho Kitchen Makeover,” is kitchen DIY rather than clothing and is outside the genre.
Skirts (#21–30)
A denim mini + brown knit + tights + boots, a gray plaid pleated mini + half-zip, and a white tiered long skirt + brown knit + shearling boots [21, 25, 29]. Both mini and long lengths appear. #28 is kitchen DIY and outside the genre.
One-piece dresses (#31–40)
A floral tiered mini + denim jacket + white socks; beige and olive button-front sleeveless long dresses (with front slits), paired with sandals [31, 36, 37]. There are many summer items, and autumnal materials are still limited. #34 is an image of a sewing pattern.
Girly (#41–50)
Pink ribbed/cable knits, bow-pattern mini skirts, lace, pearl necklaces, and bow bags [41, 43, 47]. Most headings say “Coquette” [41, 42, 43, 45, 46, 48].
Gothic/Lolita
Did not yield results (there were no images in the worker’s search results and 0 pins).
Y2K (#51–60)
Low-rise flare denim + a henley-neck logo long-sleeve, a mint graphic T-shirt + denim shorts + a star necklace, and a pink T-shirt + shorts + white leg warmers + shearling boots [51, 54, 56]. #56, “Y2K Outfits Winter,” proposes winter layering.
Street Style (#61–70)
Black/blue baggy denim, jorts (knee-length shorts) + clogs, burgundy shirts + wide-leg denim with chains [61, 65, 67]. Layered necklaces, keychains, and shearling boots. #70 is an autumn interior image and outside the genre.
Korean Fashion (#71–80)
Navy V-neck knit + white shirt + wide-leg denim, white cardigan + black ribbon, gray wide-leg pants + ribbed Henley [71, 74, 78]. Headphones, sneakers, and pale tones. #79 is an autumn interior image, while #80 has an emoji-only title and its content is unknown (unverified).
Minimalist & Polished (#81–90)
Black Henley + black wide-leg pants + black bag, black knit + black pants + Samba-style sneakers, gray crewneck + black pants + ballet flats (a runway photo from the 2000s) [81, 84, 88]. Almost entirely black and gray, with texture (a cashmere-like feel) doing the work.
Office Casual (#91–100)
Beige/gray collarless cardigan + white tank + pressed trousers + brown tote bag, burgundy shirt + black mock neck + black pants [91, 94, 98]. Kept casual with loafers/sneakers. #95 is a home-office DIY image and outside the genre.
Denim (#101–110)
Navy military-style denim jacket + matching mini skirt + brown boots, light-blue denim set, denim jumpsuit/shirt + wide-leg denim [101, 105, 107]. There is so much double denim that “Denim on Denim” becomes a heading. #109, “Amazon Finds,” is unverified.
Knits & Layering (#111–120)
Gray knit with red stripes layered over a lace camisole, navy mohair turtleneck + blue striped shirt + corduroy, brown knit + checked shirt + checked skirt [111, 115, 119]. The materials are fuzzy mohair/wool, in navy × brown × blue.
Vintage & Thrifted (#121–130)
Cargo flare jeans + military cap + waist chain, Carhartt hoodie + stripes + low rise, leather jacket + stripes + flares [121, 123, 127]. It leans more toward “Y2K vintage” than traditional thrifted style. #130 is titled “Dark Academia.” #125, “hippie summer,” is unverified.
Athleisure (#131–140)
Brown/gray/ivory half-zip sweatshirts + black/brown leggings + New Balance/arrow-style sneakers + caps, posed while holding coffee [131, 134, 138]. Chocolate brown and white are the key colors. #135 and #137 are interiors and outside the genre.
Matching Sets (#141–150)
Gray knitted zip-up set, green striped one-shoulder set, beige/gray knitted sets with NY caps [141, 144, 148]. Wide-leg pants are a common thread, with knit fabrics standing out. #144 is an e-commerce product pin.
Bohemian (#151–160)
Burgundy floral wide skirt + crochet top + fringed shawl, brown “Witchy Bohemian” look (chiffon cape + sun top + baggy denim + fringe bag) [151, 154, 156]. Moon/sun motifs, layered accessories, and hiking-boot-style platforms.
Mode & High Fashion (#161–170)
Iridescent pleats × black latex, sculptural white coat + hat, black × beige asymmetric wide-leg pants [162, 164, 166]. “Avant-Garde” appears frequently in the headings, with a blend of quiet luxury and sculptural design as in #166, “Quiet Luxury Meets Sculptural Couture.” #168 is Jacquemus’s autumn campaign.
Coats & Outerwear (#171–180)
Charcoal extra-long coat + beanie + wide-leg denim, cream long coat + brown scarf + brown pants, charcoal double-breasted coat + black mock neck [173, 177, and others among #171–180]. Wool is the main material, with long, double-breasted silhouettes.
Shoes & Bags (#181–190)
Brown leather bags (with gold hardware) + suede pointed flats with buckles, monogram Boston bags + sneakers + scarves, a quick-reference chart of “bag × shoe combinations” [181, 184, 187]. Brown takes center stage, presented in a polished quiet-luxury style [189].
Overall, brown (chocolate) × wide-leg pants × knitwear and coquette ribbons run in parallel. Pinterest centers on autumn/winter styling ideas, with “seasonal staples” coming through more strongly than newsworthiness from the previous day.
What is absent: Gothic Lolita (0 results), anime/cosplay styles, strong vivid colors, logo-heavy streetwear brands, and sport-mix looks (such as soccer shirts) did not appear in the material reviewed.
Limits
- There were 0 Gothic Lolita images. This was a genre for which the worker could not collect images, and there is no heading for it in
pinterest.pins.mdeither. - Of the 190 images, only 56 were actually opened (about 3 per genre). The remaining roughly 134 were supplemented using titles alone, and the content of pins titled “(untitled)” could not be checked.
- I could not describe “how the mood changed from the previous day,” because the prior day’s data was not available and Pinterest images do not include publication dates. Another reason daily changes are difficult to read is that Pinterest tends to surface enduring staples that continue to be saved rather than what is “trending now.”
- Images outside the genre are mixed in (kitchen DIY, interiors, sewing patterns, and e-commerce product pins): #18, 28, 34, 70, 79, 95, 135, 137, 144.
- Some pins appear to use AI-generated-looking images (#2, 74, 154, 162, 164, etc.). They may not depict real products or actual outfit photos.
- The image allocation (5 Pinterest + 2 Reddit + 3 X images) was not verified at this stage. The worker collected 10 images per genre from Pinterest alone.
- There are 19 genre headings rather than the 20 genres in brief.md because Gothic Lolita is missing.
Recommended Actions
- For X collection, use Japanese genre terms (古着, Y2K, ワンピ, コーデ) and run it in a Japan-region session.
- For Reddit collection, search by genre names or specialist subreddits rather than the single phrase “Daily Fashion News.”
- Since YouTube video pages cannot be retrieved, prepare a way to obtain captions and descriptions.
- Save the previous day’s Pinterest collection results so changes from the prior day can be compared.
- Revisit the search terms for Gothic Lolita and collect again.

Data Quality Notes
Reddit and X yielded zero images and captured almost no fashion content (on X, every result from the Croatia trend search was off-topic). YouTube provided titles and snippets only. Pinterest had zero gothic-lolita images, and only about 56 images could actually be opened.
