MiniMax Fireworks | Japanese Lake Hanabi in 4K

A calm, cinematic Japanese-style fireworks performance over a mountain lake.

How it was made

This six-minute video was created from 25 connected 15-second MiniMax H3 clips. After each clip, its last frame was extracted and supplied as the next clip’s first-frame reference. This kept one locked-off wide-angle composition: the lower third of the frame is the lake and its reflections; the upper two thirds holds the sky; lantern-lit stalls and spectators remain at the edges.

The show combines realistic chrysanthemum, peony, kamuro, willow, senrin, Niagara, and starmine sequences. The sound design uses launch thumps, whistles, crackle, lake echoes, and distant audience reactions. No source footage was used.

The creative direction draws on the Japanese competition-fireworks tradition associated with the Omagari Fireworks Festival, where light, sound, and narrative are combined.
